Crystal meth is also impacting the number of overdoses we see every year. These are the overdose deaths involving psychostimulants primarily methamphetamine according to the National Institute on Drug Abuse (2023):
- 1999 we had 547.
- 2020 we gad 23837
- In 2021 we had 32537
